WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, [February 23, 2025] – Palm Beach County has partnered with CityVitae to install and operate eight new Level 2 EV charging stations at the Vista Center in West Palm. This facility is home to several key county departments, such as the Building Department and Purchasing Department.
This project is part of Palm Beach County’s broader commitment to expanding access to sustainable transportation not only to the facility’s employees and visitors, but the surrounding community as well. Located adjacent to a major commercial corridor, the Vista Center site was strategically selected to serve nearby businesses and residents.
“Operating the EV charging infrastructure for Palm Beach County’s Building Department at Vista Center is both an honor and a responsibility. Public service locations like this are critical to the community, and managing them requires the highest standards of reliability and compliance.
Winning competitive public bids is always a complex process — with many capable participants and strict evaluation criteria — and operating under a public framework is vastly different from serving private clients. Public agencies demand a level of discipline, transparency, and rigor that pushes us to be better every day. That structure ultimately strengthens our processes and benefits all our clients, public and private alike.” – Pere Francino, CEO of CityVitae
By combining strategic design with adaptive technology, the Vista Center is positioned to become a model for public charging accessibility for all of Palm Beach County.
